Started in 2020, Aminima blends high quality photography with contemporary, minimal graphic design. Blurring the lines between realistic capture and digitally created abstract art, each work isolates one subject, focusing on the key mood of the piece.
Originally trained as a traditional portrait photographer in London’s prestigious Bond Street, the artist Katy Donaldson has worked nationally and internationally – from the Maldives to the Middle East – for magazines, hotels, architects, galleries and graphic designers. She photographs people, places and products but never weddings. She is regularly commissioned to shoot interiors and exteriors of all sorts of buildings, and is an architecture lover, from Brutalist to Baroque – with a soft spot for concrete and corrugated metal! She is a firm believer that less is usually more. Katy lives on the border of Kent and East Sussex.
All works are manufactured in the UK, captured around the world, and designed wherever there’s a plug socket to charge the laptop.
